If you are not looking to obtain a teaching job in Vermont until after the 1st of the year – The Vermont Agency of Education highly recommends applying after 01/01/2026. Any applications submitted in 2025 will have a license renewal date of 06/30/2028. By waiting until 01/01/2026, your renewal date would be 06/30/2029.
